            Raasta is cafe on the highway to Mysore before Channapatna. This cafe was accidently discovered by us on our way back to Bangalore from Mysore. The cafe is colorfully lit along the roadside from 100 metres. The place is very lush green , well maintained and youthful. This place has events like Karaoke arranged on Saturdays. This cafe is 24/7 open. Any surprise birthday plans to friends at 12'o clock, this is definitely the place.
This serene place is beautifully decorated with the innovative, colorful graffitis. Raasta has a boutique too for femme party wear.

We had ordered for potato wedges, Cafe lattes, Capuchino and Onion rings. The quantity is too much. The order was returned is a very short time. The price is very much the same as Barista.

Galibore Fishing camp review

A long pending Girl's day out finally got real last weekend with my two best friends. Not much rantings over the place, we just wanted to go out together. Made an easy choice to Fishing camp. Got proceedings from the official site of sky tours - Click here . After a few call exchanges with skytours, we had to confirm the booking with full payment. The booking was made for 'Galibore Fishing camp'.

There were 2 packages we could opt for, which we realised after reaching the camp. We weren't briefed about the packages when we called. Anyhoo , here is the breakup -

Breakups: Rs.3,900/- (03 Adults x Day Visit) + 1.24% Service tax (48) = Payable in Rs.3,948/-
 *Day Visit:  (JPAI) includes Lunch, Evening Tea / Coffee, Coracle ride, Guided trekking, entry fee & taxes.

The other package included River rafting, lunch, welcome drink and evening snacks for 1500 per head. River rafting otherwise would cost you 1200, it is better take the package.

The place has 0 network coverage. It takes around 20-25kms of offroading. Throughout your way inside, there is no single board or direction clues. All you see is the river on your left, which relieves your doubts of being on the right track.

Unfortutely we reached the placed at 1:00pm . We had lost our way following the GPS.

We missed on our welcome drink and had to jump to Lunch as we were dog hungry. The buffet included both veg and non-veg maincourse. The dessert part had only kheer and fruit salad.

The place is located very close to nature. Bird chirping, cool zephyr, sand and rocks, you sit on sand, you'll be the house of several ants within minutes. The place compliments its location with numerous hemlocks, tire swings and Rope climbing.

Overall, it is definitely a beautiful place and a must visit if you are a nature lover.

Ramee Resort, Hosur road

It was Friendship Day. We wanted to go to some new place to relish and relax. As desired we had a splendid experience in Ramee resort, Hosur road.

Ramee resort is a vast green landscape that has Swimming pool, snooker, party hall, sports room, Gym, art exibhition and many more. The greenery here has been maintained very well. The place is clean and green. It is a must visit for unwinding yourself from routine hassle.
Fortunately , for us, the resort had different plans for us. As soon as we checked in at noon , we were surprised with the events taking place there. Surprisingly this arrangement of events happens every Sunday for next few weeks. The evets like -

• Shooting the balloons.
• Mehandi
• Drums
• Pottery
• Parrot Astrology
• Fish beer bottle
• Tattoo and many more

 The buffet arranged here was just so amazing. It served us a wide variety of delicacies that included Barbeque, Chats, Gola, Cotton candy, Desserts and much more.
 The food tasted awesome. The roti and Naan and prepared on order and served hot.

Goodnews for men, there is a seperate hut for boose. Yes! My hubby and his friend were busy boozing, getting high and loosing it with a dive into the pool. The cycle repeated to their heart's content.

Evening again , you are served with Coffee and tea.

This is most definitely a good place for Corporate events, Family outings and getogethers.

Bangalore Pizza hut review

Pizza Hut

Location - Mantri Mall, Malleshwaram

It was after 7 long years, I met my long lost friend. It was late noon and both of us had lots to talk, share, gossip and were hungry like dogs. After juggling betweek Orion mall and Mantri mall, we decided on Mantri as it was nearer. As soon as we landed there, we rushed to the food court floor where you'll find a cluster of all big names of eatries and restaurants like any other mall.

Since we were tired, we couldn't order and, wait while one of us hunted for place to sit. And this was what drove us to the cozy , lighted interiors and comfortable sitting Pizza hut.

I have visited Pizza hut in more than 4-5 places till now (Sadhashivnagar, Dollar's colony, Jayanagar, Koramangala etc,.), but the interiors of none are as good or spacious as this one! I loved it.

Just as thought of ordering 1 Medium pizza, 1 Garlic bread and 2 Coke, my friend pointed at the weekday offer. Startled, the radius of my eyes were maximun when I looked at the combo.

Weekday combo

INR 99 - Regular pizza *(you can chose veg or non-veg out of the listed names)

1 Starter - Garlic bread or Potato wedges

1 Fresh lime soda

(There is a pasta combo also, but i don't remember)

Whoa!! We ordered 2 of this combo with different flavours, so can taste different pizzas too. Greedy eh? Nah! Optimum paisa vasool!!

It was yumm, hot and fast served. It was less crowded (may be one of the reason). The staff were patient, friendly and displayed good hospitality (obliged to click our pics at every pose we desired).

Firangi paani retaurant review

I don't know how many people would like train as a mode of transport, but yes, I have witnessed the pulp crowd of the big city wishes to fodder themselves sitting inside a train. To saturate this wish, was a venture made - Firangi Paani (foreigner's booze, Relevance of the name? I'm blank).

This cozy retaurant is located inside Forum Mall, Koramangala. Dimly lit, the place is actually small and cannot accomodate more than 50 approx. But yes, a huge mirror is placed on the other end of the wall with an intent to give an optical illusion of space. (These are off track knowledge , I will be giving to my blog readers! Got to know it from one of the Interior Deco magazine)

The food variety is limited. The taste is nothing out of world. But ofcourse fill stomach. I don't remember any special dishes I tasted here. The chat they served as a part of the buffet was yumm....

The seating is comfortable. The interiors are tasteful and very inline with the train concept.

Baskin Robbins review

Bright sunny day! Long hours outside under open sky exposed to the skorching suns. Even after you enter under roof, you either feel thirsty or ...??
Yes the urge to treat your dried, thirsty and pale tongue to the lavishness of an Ice-cream!!

And yes , and there you spot the household common name "Baskin Robbins". This was how I made an entry into the store last week. Had the usual chocolate chips for myself while my hubby ordered for a Blackcurrent. BTW, the menu list for flavors is enormous.
This time I had decided not to go with the usual Chocolate chip flavor.

Baskin Robbins is a place I was introduced by my Dad during one of those school days. Frankly speaking, my first encounter with the mango ice-cream from this place was a plight. But that didn't frighten me from a second try. Fortunately it was worth it the chocolate chip flavor for which I have fallen head over heels!!

Positively, this outlet is located in all major areas. Few I have tried - Malleshwaram, Koramangala and Sadashivnagar.
